One step back, ten steps forward . . .

Hello followers, just want to thank you again for the all of  the support you are providing!

Well in this painting study I took a step back to focus more on the form and mass of my subject. Looking back at the other two paintings, I noticed that I wasn't getting the form down before rendering out the painting. So I did a 2 hour study and focused on the form before I took the next step. This one didn't get fully rendered out like the others, but that is ok because my focus is on form. I do have to say it was very hard for me to just stop at the allotted time that I had given myself to spend on this study. Just need to remind myself these are studies, not finished illustrations. This study process is to help me to paint illustrations for clients and personal paintings that are to come. By studying form, lighting, texture, etc... I will be ready for whatever the client needs. As I get things more organized I will be getting a site going that shows my finished illustrations, and work that I have already done for clients. Hope you enjoy the show, there will be some fun adventures that Green and Orange will be getting themselves into very soon...what will be their first encounter?  You won't want to miss it! Thanks again for your ongoing support...
