Snake Slayer . . . Part Four

Was able to finish this up, had to tell myself it is done so I can move on. It felt good to not paint the reference just as it is, but push my study a little more to have a finished illustration. I could keep working on these illustrations, but have to keep reminding myself that these are just studies to help me work on steps in the process to a finished piece. I have always had the habit of jumping right in to try to draw the finished piece, without fundamental steps to get there.  Onward to the next action packed scene...
